Roberta was generous with useful advice, and Alessandro, the co-host, was kind and thorough when we first got in touch. We stayed in Roberta's house as two couples and really appreciated having two bathrooms. The apartment is spacious and quiet, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s in a residential area with shops and a supermarket, away from the tourist crowds, while the city center is a 15-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

Roberta was flexible and very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and then some. She also takes care of the cleaning herself. The apartment is spacious, lovely, and decorated in perfect Sicilian style. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with what you need. There are shops and other essentials nearby, and the center is no more than a 15-minute walk away. I recommend it!

We stayed here in July 2018, and our hostess was very welcoming after we’d arranged everything by email. She pointed out local sights and suggested trips from Palermo. Thanks to her, we made it to beautiful Cefalù. Our room was roomy and had a balcony, ceiling fan, air conditioning, refrigerator, and closet. The one awkward thing was that the toilet and shower weren’t next to the room, though that’s just how the apartment is laid out. It’s a pleasant, quiet area near Teatro Massimo to the west and Porta Nuova to the south. The center takes about 15-20 minutes on foot. Cafes, coffee shops, and gelaterias are nearby. Since it’s not a touristy neighborhood, prices are lower than usual, giant arancini for €1.
