Massimo and Alessio made us feel at home, with a warm, comfortable stay and helpful suggestions for places to see. The room was comfy, and the location is right in the center. It all felt like our own home, and it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed. If we’re back in Palermo, this will be our trusted place.

I waited nearly a month for the refund after canceling before arrival because the property had a problem with one of its rooms. Booking.com told me the host still hadn’t returned the money, and my reminder to the property a few days ago got no reply about its status. I understand last-minute problems can force a cancellation, but being charged the full amount when the issue was on the host’s side, then having the refund handled this way, feels unacceptable and suspicious.

Massimo and his son deserve a huge thank you, we loved our stay. The room was spotless and the building felt very secure. It was also enormous, with high ceilings, a large bathroom, a great mattress and fluffy pillows. The fridge was handy, and they stocked drinks inside at low prices. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and generous.

Massimo, Alessio and Chiara were some of the kindest people I’ve met, and did everything they could to make me feel good. The room was perfect too. I had a perfect stay at B&B Gallidoro, and it definitely won’t be my last.

The staff were helpful and great, and both the room and its old town location were very good. Our room faced the main pedestrian street, though, and even the double glazing didn’t keep out the noise. I had to wear earplugs on the second night.
