Giorgia helped us arrange everything we needed to travel through Palermo and visit the places where our ancestors were born, baptized, and married. She really pulled out all the stops to make the stay superb, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, with wonderful breakfasts and all the amenities. Words can’t express how special B&B Le Porte Del Centro was for me, my sister, and my cousins. I hope to return to Palermo and stay at what I now call “Giorgia’s place.”

I stayed for three short days in early April 2023, and can’t wait to return. Giorgia was a great host and took care of everything we needed, and more. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and wonderful, in an elegant, walkable neighborhood. Breakfast included local delicacies. There’s a grocery store nearby, and the bus to the airport is a five-minute walk away. Politeama theater, Capo market, the Port, Massimo theater, and great restaurants are all within walking distance. Giorgia was an amazing hostess and made me feel at home. She even booked my airport transfers. The central location is in a very good area, and felt super safe as a woman traveling alone. Everything was clean, with attention to detail. I can’t recommend B&B Le Porte del Centro enough, and I’ll definitely return 🩷

Giorgia puts a lot of passion into looking after the place. She speaks fluent French and English, is always ready to help, and knows a lot about the city. If she doesn’t know something, she’ll look it up for you. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and the B&B is very clean overall. It’s 15 minutes from the center, with the airport bus a five-minute walk away. If you’re looking for a very clean B&B and a good housekeeper, this is the right place. It was a pleasure meeting you, Giorgia. Maybe we’ll meet again.
