B&B Vento Del Sud

Marco, the owner, was incredibly helpful. He sent us lots of information on WhatsApp before we arrived, then explained what to see and where to eat once we were there. The room and kitchen were very clean, and there’s a Lidl only a few meters away. The location made getting around easy. The railway and bus stations are just a couple of minutes on foot, the bus stop is around the corner on the main street, and most sights are walkable, including the cathedral, markets, fountain, Quattro Canti, and streets with nightlife. Getting here from Palermo airport is easy too. I can highly recommend this place.

The breakfast was delicious, with our own section of the fridge stocked with goodies, and the place was spotless, more like a home than a B&B. Our hosts gave us lots of useful information throughout our few days there. The room was lovely, just big enough for us, and the decor and bathroom were beautiful. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, I didn’t want to get up. Bars and shops are easy to reach, and there’s a Lidl right next door. Finding the entrance took some effort, but we got there in the end. We also didn’t like that the window had been left open after cleaning while our belongings were in the room. Noise from other rooms and floors carries very clearly. Still, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

The owner was so nice and took time to walk me through the flat and neighborhood. It was spotless, and the bedroom was very large. I especially liked having a private bathroom across the hall, with its own key. Room-number labels made it clear which pantry and fridge items belonged to each guest. This was a great alternative to a traditional hotel, and I’d absolutely recommend it. The location is hard to beat.

Marco was a wonderful host and shared his favorite restaurants and places to visit. The room was clean and nice, breakfast was delicious, and the location made seeing Palermo easy. We’ll be back!
