B&B Vivere Palermo

The room itself was lovely, with a nice balcony and a good-sized bathroom, and the double glazing blocked out all the busy Palermo street noise. The real problem was inside the building. Our room was next to the owners' apartment, and one bedroom wall backed onto the corridor where the old metal-gated lift and its exposed mechanism were located. Until about 1 a.m. we could hear the gate slam and the lift grind, which disturbed our sleep for both nights. At least the flight home seemed to pass in a flash because I slept all the way. Breakfast was just OK. We had to order it the day before, and it was brought to our room because we were slightly separate from the main B&B.

We had breakfast out on the terrace and found the central location handy for nearby sights and restaurants. Claudio was warm and welcoming, served a lovely breakfast, and was always around if we needed help. The room was clean and modern. We'd happily stay again and recommend this B&B.

We were there for our honeymoon, and Claudio really made an effort to help us enjoy our time in Palermo. He was a wonderful host. The B&B is central, and the rooms are new and very well designed, with a lovely balcony and a beautiful bathroom. It was definitely the best option around for what we wanted. I'd recommend it.

The terrace gives you a lovely view over Palermo, and the owner was professional and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms at Vivere Palermo are new and well equipped, so don't judge them by how the surrounding buildings look. It's a wonderful B&B right in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!
