I’m just back from the b.e.b. at my house, and it’s disappointing to have to leave this review. The location is excellent and convenient, but the property let us down. The shower was broken, there was no coffee machine, the walls were damaged and moldy, the shutters wouldn’t open, and the balcony was very dirty with abandoned plants. There was no privacy either, since the lady’s home is where the b.e.b. is. If we opened the door to go to the bathroom or do anything else, she could see us. We left at 9:45 and asked if we could leave our bags and collect them after lunch, but she said no. The lady wasn’t very friendly and also complained about the air conditioning. We forgot a necklace, but she said she couldn’t find it. The balcony above was dangerous too. I’ve attached photos that show all of this.

This is a small B&B made from a residential apartment, with several shops close by and an excellent location. I believe I had the biggest room. It’s spacious, on a corner, and has two balconies. From the room, a hallway takes you to the bathroom, which has a shower head in place of a bidet. There’s an elevator in the building, and the B&B is on the second floor. The owner is friendly, helps with check-in, and is happy to give recommendations. The price is good, even though breakfast isn’t included.

I’ve been coming for years and wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else. I stayed again this weekend and hope to be back in October. It’s family-run and really feels like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished, spotless, and well maintained, and the garden is fantastic. Breakfast is superb, especially Maria's wonderful cakes.

We stayed at this B&B last month and came away disappointed. The room didn’t quite match the photos, though I won’t get into the details. More importantly, there was no breakfast because of COVID. That’s understandable, but shouldn’t we have been told when booking, or at least when we arrived?
