Bella Palermo

The value for money is unbeatable, and the listing showed exactly what we found. We especially enjoyed the little garden available to two of the three rooms. The property was spotless and well equipped, in a quiet, safe spot close to the bus terminal and train station. Palermo's sights, markets, and places to eat were all an easy walk away. Giacomo, the owner, checked in from our first contact through the arrival instructions and followed up to make sure we'd settled in and were comfortable. Everything about the place was impeccably great. We'll definitely return to Bella Palermo. Grazie mille Giacomo!

The accommodation was clean and in a quiet area close to the center. I felt safe walking around, even at midnight, and the neighborhood never made me uneasy. Our host was great and made sure we had everything we needed, including a list of the tourist attractions. We warmly recommend staying here.

Giacomo was a nice host, but our stay at Bella Palermo really wasn't great. The bed broke just five seconds after we sat on it. He came to repair it at midnight, and it was fixed over the following days, but it seemed obvious it was already on the verge of breaking before we arrived. I wish we'd been warned so we could have chosen somewhere else. The B&B is on the ground floor, which didn't feel nice, and the breakfast room gets no daylight. The neighborhood near the main train station also felt unsafe at night. If I'd been traveling alone, I would have been quite worried. For the same price, there are much better options in Palermo.

Giacomo was really kind and helpful, and made us feel at home. Our room was wonderful, comfortable, and very clean. It's well placed for the city center, Ballaro market, and the train station. Highly recommended!
