Bio Hotel Palermo

The breakfast choices were limited, though the quality was really good. I also had a large terrace with great views, as the hotel is in the attic of a building. My room was big, with a comfortable bed and a very renovated bathroom and other things. This is a boutique place downtown Palermo, and the price was surprisingly good. I'd definitely come back if I'm in town again.

We booked a room with a private terrace and enjoyed using it every day. Breakfast was served each morning on the shared terrace and was nice. The hotel is on the top floor of a shared "hotel building". The beds and linens were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A very sweet hotel.

We were leaving early for the airport on our last day, so the staff arranged breakfast earlier than they normally could. Everyone was very friendly, and the breakfast was quite nice, definitely deserving of the "Bio" label! We only stayed two nights, but the modern room and bathroom and very good beds made it enjoyable. It's a small hotel with just eight rooms, doing all it can to make guests comfortable. The location is good too, near the shopping street and old center.

I mean, this was the worst night of my life. The bed was somehow worse than my army bed, and the jacuzzi was basically an inflatable foot bath with nowhere to sit, its bottom almost on the floor. The shower pipes leaked, so there was barely any pressure. It's on the seventh floor of a semi-abandoned building, and the elevator wasn't working, so I had to carry my own suitcase. The staff's WhatsApp response was basically, “it is what it is.” The staff were rude. This isn't a hotel, it feels like cheaply renovated old offices turned into rooms.
