Heritage Collection Palermo B&B

The host was helpful and flexible, and made eggs or pancakes for breakfast each morning just the way we wanted. The location worked really well, with many main sights, restaurants and markets within walking distance. I spent three nights in a clean, comfortable room with lovely decor, and could easily have stayed longer. I'd definitely come back.

Roberta made us feel at home throughout the stay. She was warm and helpful in person, and getting in touch before we arrived was easy and pleasant. The building itself made a great first impression as soon as we stepped through the outer door into the courtyard. It's beautiful, and the renovation was clearly done with care while preserving the old details. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished. We loved our stay and will definitely return. The breakfast was delicious, and it was nice chatting with the other guests. Roberta was a wonderful host, full of local and restaurant knowledge, and happy to help with anything. Our room felt like a little Palazzo, with restored detail across the ceiling and walls, plenty of space, and everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable too, and even had disco lights in the shower. Walking from Palermo Train Station, we felt a bit uneasy at first because the neighborhood seemed rather run down. The architecture changed as we got closer, which was reassuring, though finding the entrance took some effort. There were bins outside, but that seems common in Palermo, so don't let them put you off. Inside is a traditional italian courtyard with a beautiful marble staircase up two floors. We got a warm welcome when we arrived, and the stay was memorable.

I slept well both nights, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a big living area and a great bathroom, with a rain shower and color-changing LED lights, plus lit vanity mirrors. The building is older, and the location puts you close to the heart of the city. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and answered lots of questions over WhatsApp before and during my trip. They also cooked breakfast each morning and served it with a smile, which I appreciated. I wasn't especially fond of Palermo itself and enjoyed the beaches more, but for a stay in the city, I'd recommend this place for the location and the people.
