Really nicely located.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location. The inside staircase is hard to manage, so it may not suit older people very well.

I felt mocked and disrespected by the way this was handled. I’d found the property on Booking.com and called to ask about the sofa bed. The lady first quoted a higher price than the one listed there. After we talked it over, she agreed to match Booking.com’s price, but said the transaction would take place outside the site. I could tell from how we spoke that she wasn’t interested, though she didn’t say so directly. We agreed I’d call when I got to Palermo. Once I arrived, I called again and again, but got no answer. I had to book somewhere else at the last minute, and it cost me twice as much. I’m posting a photo of the Politeama in Palermo to show I was there.

For €153 for five days, we weren’t going to complain. The welcome was pleasant, it was clean, and the location was good. The gear felt a little dated, the Wi-Fi wasn’t great, and the air conditioning made noise. There’s a Carfour right next door, too. ;)
