HrD Luxury rooms

The rooms were pleasant and well equipped, and there was a good variety at breakfast, though the coffee was cold and terrible. My grandkids, aged 3 - 8, played beneath a banana tree in the back area while their parents returned the cars. After we'd left, I got a message saying the children had damaged a “very expensive “ banana tree and plants, but that the damage would be overlooked if we raised our Booking.com rating to 10. I didn't want a dispute, so I removed my review at first, then decided to post on Google because ratings should be factual. I wouldn't stay here again. Without our son and son-in-law with us, we wouldn't have felt completely safe at night.

The staff and manager were very welcoming, and the room was clean. The location was excellent, very close to termini station.

The location worked so well for us, right down the street from Palermo Centrale train station and at the edge of the historic district. We walked around Palermo easily and could get to trains, taxis, and day trip transport right away. Getting in takes a little figuring out: you go through a secure street door into a car park courtyard, then enter the building from there. Once we understood it, the setup felt secure and authentic. My adult daughter and I spent nine nights at HRD Luxury Rooms. It's family owned and run, and the staff treated us like family. We left feeling we'd made friends for life. The rooms, breakfast area, and private courtyard garden were modern, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which matters a lot in a Sicilian summer. This is more of a boutique bed-and-breakfast than a traditional full-service hotel, and the personal care was a real strength. When the team found out my daughter and I need gluten-free food, the owner brought fresh gluten-free croissants for us each morning. They also helped arrange excursions with trusted local vendors, offered their own private tours, and shared helpful local knowledge and recommendations. We found the accommodations beautiful, the rooms comfortable, and the hospitality among the warmest we've experienced. HRD Luxury Rooms made our time in Palermo special. Thanks to everyone there.

From the furnishings through to the bathroom, the room was kept in impeccable shape. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were kind, courteous, and very helpful. We could explore the center on foot. It was a great stay, highly recommended.
