The lively Vucciria market area is right by the apartment, with little restaurants, street food, and stalls. The seafood spaghetti cooked in the street was a culinary highlight for us, even after ten days of excellent restaurant meals. The graffiti and run-down buildings shouldn't put you off. It's a lived-in, vibrant neighborhood to explore, and Balconi di San Domenico is a great starting point. Our lovely apartment had two small balconies looking over the church and square of San Domenico. Double glazing kept the bedrooms quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Virginia, our kind hostess, met us there and gave us great sightseeing tips and a basket of goodies.

The Vucciria is just 10 meters away, and the view of Piazza San Domenico is unforgettable. Virginia was so kind and helpful, sharing useful tips on places to visit and where to eat really well. Her love for the area comes through right away. We stayed at this magnificent B&B at the end of August with my girlfriend and two friends. Every detail had been thought through: a spacious, spotless kitchen with everything we needed, a comfortable air-conditioned living room, a large bathroom, and enormous rooms that were completely soundproofed. We left a little piece of our hearts there. Five stars and more!

The hostess left lots of breakfast options on the table, and the kids were happy with the Nutella and mini bags of crisps. We had a wonderful stay as a family with my two small children. We brought a stroller, and there are stairs, but only a few, so they weren't a problem. I carried the stroller myself. The apartment had been sanitized according to anti-COVID regulations and suited our little ones. We'll definitely come back :)

We were just steps from the pubs and nightlife, but inside the apartment it was super quiet, which was a huge plus for us young nightlife lovers. I came with my girlfriend, my best friend, and his girlfriend. The place was beautiful, with two double bedrooms, a huge kitchen, a living room area I loved, and a plasma TV.

The view was breathtaking, and we were only 2 minutes from the center. The rooms were spacious and super quiet, and we slept really well even with the air conditioning on. We got there around 10:00 AM and were welcomed right away. They gave us maps, guidebooks, and all the information we needed to get around and see the loveliest parts of the city. Highly recommended!
