I was left stressed and frustrated by how unclear the cancellation and change policy is. It says changes are possible up to a certain date, but doesn’t clearly say they have to happen within the same month as the original booking. When a medical emergency meant I needed to change my reservation, I tried contacting the property several times and got no response. I called too, and was told they’d get back to me, but they never did. A very disappointing experience.

Palermo and Sicily are beautiful and welcoming, and the loft is lovely, well equipped and right in the heart of Palermo. But the cleanliness fell short of what was advertised. There was mold in the shower, which cost it a star. The owner's customer service was another problem. Payment had already been made by the time we arrived, and we only then learned that the included parking was a 15-minute walk away and had limited opening hours. We ended up parking wherever we could and paying the daily Limited Traffic Zone fee. The owner can only be contacted in writing on WhatsApp during office hours, with no phone hotline. That lost another star. Three stars will do.

In the middle of Palermo, and a wonderful stay. The apartment was functional, clean and tidy.
