The air conditioning worked well, and the price was very low, so I can see this being useful for a night or two if you need somewhere at the last minute. We stayed in room 2 during a short visit, though, and I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay or if privacy and comfort matter. It felt like a basic place to sleep, not somewhere cozy for a couple. The bathroom is an open-top cubicle, so there’s no real privacy and you can hear everything. The shower pressure was nearly nonexistent, and the pump made a loud noise whenever we used the bathroom or sink. We were told not to flush toilet paper, but there was no bin service. There was also no proper closet, and the only bedding was a thin sheet instead of a real blanket.

The water had an odd smell, and the plumbing meant we had to put used toilet paper in the wastebasket. The walls are thin too, so noise from other residents was incredible at night. Still, it’s a nice, clean place right in the center, across from the market.

The bathroom was built inside the room without a ceiling, and we hadn’t realized that beforehand. Sound and smells carried through, so there was no privacy. We also had a bedbug issue and complained after three days. In the end, they accused us of bringing the bugs ourselves, but gave no proof.

The old town is only a five-minute walk away, and having access to the kitchen was great. The accommodation itself is excellent. Just be warned, the fruit seller on the corner outside could wake the dead.

A clean, safe place, conveniently close to both the train station and the tourist sights.
