We booked this apartment eight months ahead and had already paid, because its location was ideal for our train trip with two small children. As our holiday got closer, the owners unilaterally cancelled. They could get more money for the apartment at that point, and first asked if we wanted to cancel ourselves, without any scruples. They didn’t even bother to email us in English. We took it up with Booking.com. After a few emails with their service desk, the reservation was cancelled because the owners wouldn’t help us find another nearby apartment. We had to book somewhere else, paying a lot more for lower quality and a longer distance from the train station. Thanks for nothing, mea Domus Palermo!

What a lovely place! The rooms were beautiful and super clean, and everyone was so welcoming. One of my best stays in Palermo, I’d say.

The owners couldn’t be reached, and our reservation was cancelled without any reason.

Stefano greeted us warmly and was friendly, knowledgeable, and always available. The place was very clean, and the common areas were spacious and well kept. Our room was bright, spectacular, and roomy, with two chairs, a desk, TV, a puffy puff, and blackout curtains. Heating was great, with air conditioning and two radiators, one large one in the bedroom and another in the bathroom. The private bathroom had no window, but the fixtures were new, the fan worked, and there was a professional hairdryer. The shower was a bit slow to get going, though it didn’t flood. The kitchen came with a kettle, microwave, stove, and large refrigerator. The location was great, just two minutes from Palermo Central Station. A truly wonderful stay. Thank you, Stefano!
