Mondello Beach Rooms

The rooms are basic, clean, and comfortable. There’s no tea or coffee setup inside the room, though you can get it in the access area. It’s a good option for a short stay, and the cleaning staff are lovely. I also appreciated being able to use the beach umbrellas. The location is perfect. Check-in was confusing because I never got the online link, so I had to call on WhatsApp. They responded quickly and helped me. I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer, though, because the bar "Arena" is directly opposite and the music was loud enough to rattle the window glass. The website says it’s open until 3 a.m. Luckily, I only had to put up with the music for a couple of hours. There are two lifts, and both stopped working at some point during my three-night stay.

At 140 Euros a night, I expected a lot more than what felt like a hostel room. The parking information was seriously misleading, and getting into the room was difficult. There was no reception, just chat support that took about 10 minutes to reply. The bed seemed close to falling apart, and the place smelled of chemicals. The sea view is only technically a sea view. The TV looked like it was from the '90s, and there wasn't even a water boiler in the room. I wouldn't recommend it.

It was so peaceful there, and the beach and restaurants are right next door. A marvelous place to stay.
