I came away with a very poor impression of Palermo, and the rest of my trip felt less enjoyable. The accommodation was relatively inexpensive, but I felt that if something displeased the landlord, he might charge you, which made staying there stressful. I wouldn’t recommend it. I stayed there respectfully, but didn’t feel the guests were treated with respect. The hospitality seemed good only on the surface, and in the end I got an apology from the booking site, not from the landlord. The trouble started when I told him I wanted to check out at 8am. He said that was too early for him and asked me to leave the key on the desk in the room and go, so I did. He then objected to some doors being slightly open and used that as a reason to try to get money through the booking site. I considered the accusation completely false. He reacted emotionally, like a child screaming, which scared me. He also lied to protect himself, claiming I’d said things I hadn’t. I suggested a key box outside to avoid this kind of checkout problem and asked him to consider another checkout arrangement. He got angry and messaged me that I should reflect on my actions. This was a lodging facility, and the way he responded was frightening.

The manager was kind, organized, helpful, and gave excellent advice. My room was VERY clean, carefully arranged, and full of thoughtful details. Even the linens smelled lovely. It’s on the small side, but for a solo traveler or someone with children, it’s just right, and the value for money is hard to beat. I also liked having a shared kitchen with coffee and a washing machine. The area was quiet, with little noise or traffic, and well placed for walking to everything. Thanks for everything. If I return to Palermo, I’d stay here again :)

Salvatore was always available and quick to respond to our questions or concerns. We were a couple staying three days in the double room in early May. The apartment was clean and had thoughtful touches, including a sealed towel kit with disposable terry slippers and earplugs, even though it was completely quiet. We could park on the street relatively easily, then walk to the city centre. The cathedral was about a leisurely half-hour walk away.

The balcony and veranda overlooking the mountains around Palermo were a lovely finishing touch. The apartment is beautiful, recently renovated, and has every comfort, including an elevator, air conditioning, and a washing machine. It’s right in the centre and well connected to public transport, with scooter parking too. Salvatore was attentive and helpful. Excellent experience, highly recommended. Top!

The natural light made this welcoming, very clean apartment feel warm and homey. I was really happy with my stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was comfortable too, and the towels were incredibly soft. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended, and I plan to stay here again.
