Sergio was very kind. We spent two nights in apartment no. 12, which was lovely, clean, and right in central Palermo. From the bedroom's small terrace, you can look out over the street and see the roof of Porta Nuova. The Royal Palace, Piazza del Parlamento, and the cathedral are all a short walk away. Keep going along Via Maqueda and you'll reach Piazza Villena, Quattro Canti, and Piazza Pretoria.

Sergio was the highlight: kind, discreet, thoughtful with his advice, and his French is excellent. The apartment itself is bright, soundproofed, and air-conditioned, with elevator access. It's about a 10-minute walk to the cathedral and historic district, and under five minutes to the bus stops. The bus network is very good, the train station isn't far, and there's really no need to rent a car. Thanks for everything, Sergio.

The place is nice, but there's too much noise.
