Palazzo Pantaleo

The breakfast had a nice range of juice, coffee and tea, yogurt, fruit, bread, cold cuts, and assorted cakes. We also appreciated the private parking, and following the map and directions made it easy to find the place. It’s clean and well kept, with much of the city center an easy walk away. From the first moment, we felt welcome, first by the friendly man handling parking and then by Mr. Giuseppe, who looked after us. Both were charming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and cozy, and we really enjoyed the varied, delicious breakfast. Palazzo Pantaleo is right in central Palermo, close to Teatro Massimo, restaurants, markets, and well-known sights. There are a few parking spots, so it’s best to check ahead if you’re coming by car. What we’ll remember most is how attentive Mr. Pantaleo and his staff were. They made us feel at home. I’d choose this place for a stay in Palermo.

Giuseppe was a great host, with an interesting sense of humor, and we loved meeting him. Since the hotel is off a pedestrian street, Google won’t route you there, but you can drive onto the street as a guest. Giuseppe met us and helped us get into the courtyard parking and hotel. Parking was free. Be sure to tell them if you have a car. The location was perfect for walking to sights and restaurants. Our room was super quiet at night, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed three nights while exploring Palermo and slept really well. The room was spotless, and the A/C and heat both worked well. Breakfast was plentiful and very good, with fresh fruit, juice, breads, meats, cheese, coffee, pastries, and more. The woman serving breakfast was very sweet. I highly recommend staying here.

The beds and pillows were the most comfortable of all five places we stayed overnight in Sicily. Giuseppe, the owner, was a wonderful host, and breakfast was very nice. The B&B is on the third floor of a beautiful older building just off the main pedestrian street. It’s been restored with care and skill, with lovely furniture, gorgeous tile floors, and beautiful fabrics and art. Follow Giuseppe’s directions to find it. Highly recommend.
