Palermo Inn Suite

Compared with the other places we stayed in Italy during our road trip over the past few weeks, this was the worst. The walls have no sound insulation, so unless you want to wake up at 7:30 on a holiday and feel as if you're sleeping in a public space, this room isn't for you. We had trouble with the shower and hot water throughout all four days. Free parking outside is limited and hard to find, and breakfast was just frozen pastries. For the price, this hotel isn't worth it compared with others in the same range.

After long days in a city that's falling apart, it was nice to come back to rooms that looked so fresh. The service was great, and breakfast was lovely, with food from a local bakery. The bed was comfortable, and the area was fairly quiet. The air conditioning kept the room cool and dry. The place looks and feels better than it did in the nighttime photos.

The breakfast is right outside the room, so with no sound insulation you hear all the noise from the preparation and meal. I could even hear people talking on their phones in the next room clearly enough to join the conversation. There's no hot water either. The rooms are very cheap and right beside the prison in palermo. The area felt bad and far from the city. And when I asked for tea at breakfast, the host put cold tap water in a cup and heated it in the microwave. Ghetto service.

The staff were fantastic, and the food was great. The location is good, the place is clean, and the price is reasonable.
