The rooftop terrace was amazing, and the apartment itself was beautiful and in a great spot close to everything. This was our favorite Airbnb of the whole Sicily trip. Pierpaolo was quick to respond and made check-in and checkout easy with clear instructions and helpful information. He even left us a delicious bottle of wine to enjoy on the terrace. Everything was clean, tidy, and there for a comfortable stay. I'd love to come back to Palermo and stay here again.

We had a great stay, and ended our Sicily trip with an aperitivo on the roof, taking in breathtaking city views. The apartment is in a beautiful building right in the heart of the city, next to La Vucceria market, within walking distance of the main sights, and around the corner from the airport bus stop. It's a luxurious oasis in a bustling, sometimes chaotic city center. Casa Santa Sofia was an amazing place, and the host was great.

During the day, there's a concierge-doorman in the building who was ready to help with anything we needed, and Carrefour is two blocks away for supplies. The apartment is about 1 km from central Palermo, in a luxurious 14th-century complex. Pierpaolo, the owner, is an architect who has made it a cozy, pleasant place to spend time. The mattresses and linens are great, the kitchen is fully equipped, and heating usually isn't needed. It also has one of the best terraces, with a 360-degree view of the surroundings, plus the biggest sofa I've ever seen in an apartment.

Pierpaolo even shared the name of a fantastic Palermo tour guide, and the taxi service was impeccable. The whole house is beautifully and carefully designed, and everything worked perfectly. The master bedroom is truly spectacular. I hope I can return to his home soon and see enchanting Palermo again.
