The private courtyard gave us a peaceful place to come back to after a busy day out, though finding the apartment took a little effort at first. It may help to be able to contact the owner for directions when you arrive. Inside, it’s fully furnished and had all we needed, including a kitchen. It’s a comfortable base for an active couple, and many of Palermo’s main sights are an easy walk away. The owner was very helpful at check-in and showed us how to use a small elevator for our heavier bags. The apartment is at the top of several flights, though, so it won’t work well for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

A caring, very nice landlord and an apartment equipped with everything you need. It’s an ideal place for a couple staying in Palermo for days or weeks, and a great base for exploring the city.

The apartment smelled strongly of gas, and the system was hard to make sense of. I’ll add a photo. The neighbors were yelling, singing, and swearing, so it was incredibly noisy. The landlady tried to get extra money for cleaning and taxes after I had moved in and paid everything in full. The photos didn’t match what I found. It was the worst place I’ve ever seen. If I could, I’d give it zero, and I’ll post photos showing the details.

A great apartment right in central Palermo, in a quiet spot. The landlady was lovely, and I’d definitely stay here again.
