I was ready to leave a four-star review until the last morning. Check-out was by 10, and at 10:04 I was packed, had my shoes on, and was finishing brushing my teeth. I planned to leave within a minute, but heard banging on the door. A female staff member was there, complaining that I had to check out immediately. After travelling for 25 years and booking more than 1000 hotels, I’ve never experienced anything like it. It was sad to be treated that way. The hotel is very well located and the rooms are amazing, though the thin walls let in street and neighbor noise. I didn’t mind too much. The male receptionist spoke limited English but was very friendly and greeted me with an Aperol Spritz. The breakfast tray is a good idea, but guests should perhaps be asked about allergies and intolerances. I asked for a meat-free tray because I’m vegetarian, but still got sausage. The food was also quite unhealthy, with lots of very sugary pastries, and breakfast started late, at 8:30. The owner's response to my criticism was very unprofessional and made things worse. They called guests liars instead of handling the comments respectfully. Not everyone is suited to hospitality, as they proved. They should be ashamed.

The location is great, but the service was shocking. We paid extra for a spa bath, spent hours filling it, and when we turned on the jets, black mould came out, so we couldn’t use it. I contacted the company and at first they were very apologetic, but then stopped replying. I followed up to ask for compensation for the extra cost of the spa room, and only then got a response accusing me of blackmail and threatening ‘legal action’. Their replies to less positive reviews are passive-aggressive, rude, and unprofessional. There’s nothing luxurious about this place. I’d never stay again. Avoid.

The team were friendly and efficient, and every interaction felt easy. Check-in went smoothly, and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home. The hotel is also very central, so getting around the area is convenient whether you’re visiting for work or leisure. You can see the care in the decor and small details, from the cozy furnishings to the warm feel of the place. We felt comfortable right away. Just a lovely hotel with charm and heart! 🌟

The highlight was Lory, who was exceptionally delightful: friendly, helpful, and baking fresh pastries each day for breakfast. We told her we’d be leaving early and skipping breakfast on our last morning; when we got back later, she’d packed one for us. Best service, thank you! The pastries looked and tasted incredible, as did the coffee. We were on holiday, so the comments about them not being healthy didn’t matter to us. The hotel was easy to find thanks to clear arrival instructions. Our spa room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with an infrared sauna, bath spa, a place to relax with tea, and orange-toned rock lighting. It was a distinctive and comfortable setup. The area was another big plus, with everything easily accessible.
