We had a lovely seaside holiday. The accommodation was good and the host was welcoming. We enjoyed everything, thank you.

The air conditioning was the one real drawback. There’s just one split unit in the hallway, and in the high outdoor temperatures it struggled to cool the rest of the house. Still, the place was livable. The location is very good, about a 10-minute walk from the beach in Mondello, and street parking was easy to find. The owner was helpful at both check-in and check-out. Good value for July and August, and I’d recommend it.

The garden wasn’t for our exclusive use, despite what had been stated. The place was also poorly cleaned, to put it kindly. It’s an old, stuffy house with one air conditioner in the hallway that does very little for the other rooms. There’s duct tape holding all sorts of things together, from the fridge and chairs to the bathroom fixtures. And the rooms are packed with far too much furniture for a holiday rental.
