The place has a lovely, calm atmosphere, but I thought the rooms needed an upgrade. The restaurant inside the property is awesome, with great food.

Friendly, efficient staff and a very convenient location for travelers. It’s great value for what you pay, and there’s a great Auberge next door.

Rooms are simple and practical, though the white LED lighting is too bright. They’re quiet, so you can sleep well once the lights are off. This isn’t really somewhere to hang out in your room, just sleep. Breakfast is quite okay.

The lack of soundproofing is awful. I could hear people in other rooms blow-drying their hair after midnight, and the electronic door lock makes a loud buzz every time it opens, loud enough for the whole hallway to hear. I don’t mind dated decor or being away from the center, but I’ve slept in hostels that were quieter. I can’t imagine choosing to come back.

The restaurant was the big surprise, with an excellent, unusual menu. Definitely five stars. I rode my motorcycle from Livorno toward Bavaria and picked this as a good first stop after getting off the early ferry from Bastia. Secure garage parking meant I slept well, and the fee was €5 less. Mille grazie!
