La Volta

The owner calls it a fair price for a makeshift double room, and even says it’s a great deal. For breakfast, though, you get to do penance by fasting, because there isn’t any. The explanation for the missing blankets on what was meant to be a second bed was that laundry costs too much because of COVID, so they’d rather turn up the heat. Other penances include old furniture, a separate boiler in the kitchen, and a hair dryer that doesn’t work. I’d like to say something positive since it’s in the center, but I must be mistaken: the whole experience was completely negative. This B&B is for pilgrims who want to atone for their sins and faults.
