8/10
The food was a letdown, both at breakfast and in the hotel restaurant. In a city known for Prosciutto and Parmigiano-Reggiano, the hotel’s offerings didn’t seem to match Parma’s high food standards. I’d head into the city center for a more authentic meal. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room for luggage or a longer stay, and despite being close to the tracks they were relatively quiet. The decor is minimalist and functional, but can feel sterile or dated if you’re after a boutique Italian feel. It works for sleeping, though it doesn’t have much warmth or character. NH Parma is in a modern complex just steps from Parma Train Station, so it’s very convenient for arriving by rail or exploring the Emilia-Romagna region. For a business trip or a quick weekend in Italy’s culinary capital, it’s a solid, practical base whose main strengths are access and efficiency rather than luxury.

The parking was safe and had plenty of space for cars. We were really pleased we chose this hotel. It was a lovely surprise: the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and cozy, with a good location. Our room was spacious, with a nice design and decor.

The rooms are modern and well equipped, though the hotel is a little way from downtown Parma. One odd thing: the bathroom sink faucets are so low that it’s hard to wash your hands or fill a bottle. It’s not a big deal, just a strange choice.

This was our second stay, after trying a few other options, and NH Parma is worth the price. We especially like its location for walking around and enjoying Parma. The rooms and breakfast were excellent, and the service was very nice and attentive. We’ll be thrilled to come back again.

Service was great, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was great too. The location is the only part I wouldn’t call excellent. Being a one-minute walk from the main train station is very useful during the day, but at night it’s not very pleasant walking around there, especially compared with the rest of Parma center.
