Hotel Capri

We had a big balcony with a table and chairs, and the beds were good. It was quiet, though the hotel is in a small town about 10 minutes from Udine. There's free parking beside it, a little restaurant next door, and a large shopping center about twenty minutes away by car. When I stayed during 37-degree weather, the air conditioning worked. The TV was small but had lots of channels. It's a cheap, clean, cozy place, though the building is tired. A good classical Italian hotel that's been kept in the family over the years.

Traffic can be heard if you sleep with the windows open, so bring earplugs. Otherwise, cleaning was good, the staff were friendly, and the pizza next door was good. A good-priced place for a night on the road.

Ask for a room at the back if you want it quieter. There’s free WiFi with a good signal, and the people welcoming guests are as friendly as ever. It’s a small, clean, very affordable place in an old 60s style, just outside Udine. There’s no breakfast. Buses connect it well to the centre, and it’s about a hundred meters from the motorway ramp to and from Austria and Venice, on the national road from Treviso.

A quick bus ride gets you to Udine city centre, and the restaurant next door is an easy, cheap dinner option when you don't have time to search around. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is old, but fine if all you need is a bed and shower. If you're after luxury, this isn't the place.
