Hotel Sole

The short walk to the slopes and the modern, spacious rooms were the only positives for me. Dinner was a disaster: the food wasn't tasty, was barely warm, and was served again the next evening. Desserts like tiramisu and brownie cake came on yesterday's platters, with visible smudges. The first and second courses were a chaotic mix of random flavors. The coffee machines looked like they had never been cleaned. The rooms were modern and roomy, but cleaning was very superficial, with dust building up under the beds. The ski room was ridiculous, the storage cabinet was only about 25 cm wide, almost too narrow for two boots side by side. I'd never seen a jacuzzi used with people sitting on the pool edge, their legs only knee-deep in the water. The water was cold. The staff didn't speak a word of English or German and were only willing to speak Italian.

We stayed for a week on a ski trip and were very happy with the hotel. It has a good location and a relaxed, family-oriented feel. Most of the staff speak Italian, but they did their best to help us even though our Italian was limited. Dinner was a full four courses each night, with a wide range of classic and local dishes, and the food was great. The spa was okay. The jacuzzi was warm at best, though the rest of the facilities were clean and well maintained. Would recommend!

The slopes are about a five-minute walk away, and the prices are very affordable. We had a fantastic week here: the place was spotless, the food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's a family-run hotel where everyone pitches in. The spa is small but really well looked after, and it's good with kids too. Grazie mille ragazzi!!!! Ci vedremo l’anno prossimo!

The ski storage locks properly, and the hotel is in a great spot with a tasty, varied food selection. The wellness area is lovely when it's quiet, though it feels a little small for the number of guests. Our other issues were that the heating wasn't enough and the Wi-Fi didn't work during our entire stay.
