By the final day the food had become pretty good: we could choose chicken, and there was a buffet of side dishes. Things improved after our teachers complained, and we got proper bread instead of plain toast. Anyone still hungry was given more food. Before that, portions were tiny, like servings for a four-year-old. One dinner was just a little pasta and two small slices of pork, with no vegetables or side dish. I was there with a school group of about 100 students, and the start of the stay was pretty bad. Only two men served the whole dining room, so each meal took over an hour, with 15 to 20 minutes between courses. Even after the food got better, dessert was odd: a couple of times we waited 20 minutes, then were told there wasn't any and to go have fruit instead. They used plastic cups for everything, which gave the impression they were trying to save every cent. It felt like the hotel gave us the bare minimum until the teachers pushed for changes. Large groups should be ready for long waits.

The room had maintenance problems too. The sink was clogged and the shower didn't work properly, and we had to sort them out ourselves instead of the hotel taking care of them. Food was poor and badly handled. Portions were too small, and when they were increased, it mostly meant getting more bread rather than proper food. Dessert was especially frustrating: several times we waited, only to be told there was none and that we should have fruit. The whole thing felt careless and disorganized. Service was weak, with little communication from staff and an unprofessional manner that made simple situations unpleasant. All drinks came in plastic cups, which made the place seem extremely cost-conscious and low-standard. The hotel didn't meet basic expectations for food, service, or upkeep. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We didn't enjoy the food, so we ate out every day, which was a shame since we'd paid for all inclusive. Breakfast was fine. The views were very nice, and the shower pressure was good, but we were disappointed overall and wouldn't return. Next time we'd choose a place closer to town with better facilities. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from town, and I think there are better options nearby. We were first given a basement room where every sound carried: toilets flushing, water going down the drains, and doors slamming. Thankfully, a much nicer room on the top floor was available the next day after we asked to move. The walls are very thin, though, so you can hear everything. The curtain rail fell off twice, which we reported to reception, and the door was very hard to lock.

The staff were very nice, but the management was poor. We booked this for the third time, and it'll be our last. Ignore reviews from before 2025, as the hotel is under new management. On the first night, we were told a private party had booked the bar, so we had to eat early. Around 10 p.m., two busloads of 18-20 year olds arrived, and a full-on rave or disco started in the bar, carrying on until 3 a.m. The noise was completely unacceptable. I complained to the manager, who said, "I told your company," as if that made it okay. He had also said it would end at 1 a.m., but it kept going until 3. We barely slept after getting up early to travel here. We'd also had the all-inclusive deal we'd booked suddenly withdrawn, and several room problems reported on the first day were never fixed: the bath, safe, and TV weren't working. I travel widely, and this is the first time I've ever wanted or needed to write a review. If you've already booked, my advice is to try to change hotels. We would never stay here again.

We had to walk uphill on a road with no pavement for 15 minutes each day to get to the ski slopes. The shuttle stop is opposite the hotel, but the bus runs only three times in the morning, with the last before 10 a.m., and three times in the evening to return. Those times didn't suit us: our Sunday ski class was at 14:00, and weekday classes started at 09:00, too close to the bus schedule. The loss of all-inclusive was a major problem. We booked a year in advance and paid for all-inclusive and the beginners' ski bundle, then were told less than two weeks before travel that the hotel no longer offered all-inclusive. We were told we'd only get water and juice at breakfast, and wine and water at dinner. The £35 refund for seven days of all-inclusive was awful. Drinks cost a lot, and we spent more than £35 a day on soft drinks, hot drinks, and water. The room was spacious with a balcony and a good view, and the beds were very comfortable. But there was no kettle even though we requested one. After three days the TV lost its signal and stopped working. We told reception, who replied, "thanks for the intel," but didn't offer to fix it or send anyone to look. Breakfast was awful every day, with no hot food. There was bread, pastries, cold meat, cheese, and cereal. The pastries were burnt most days, and once they ran out they weren't replenished. On one occasion they had no butter when we asked, and the juice machine was turned off most mornings because it had run out. The coffee machine did work. We were promised a packed lunch each day with sandwiches, juice, water, a chocolate bar, fruit, and crisps. Instead, we got two small rolls every day, one with a slice of salami and cheese, and the other with a slice of cheese and ham, neither with butter. We also got a soft apple or orange that looked like it was going off, and a bottle of water. It was the same each day. Dinner sometimes had three options each for starter, main, and dessert, and sometimes no choice. When pasta was served, it was hard and stuck together. One evening we got a plain hamburger with cold broccoli. The meals were appalling, and more than once we couldn't eat them. The soups were the only tasty, edible food. There was red or white wine and water, but we weren't allowed to take them out of the restaurant. The small restaurant heated up quickly and was very uncomfortable. Staff also switched off the juice and coffee machines, so we couldn't have anything from them. We ended up eating out more than expected because the hotel food and lunches were so bad. Town has a few bars and restaurants at decent prices, and two supermarkets, a Spar and a local shop, where we went each day for water. The hotel has no water stations, and you can't get free water there during the day. The receptionist and staff didn't speak very good English, which made it hard to explain the problems we were having. They weren't able to help us. The hotel bar was very small and outdated, with hard chairs and not many seats. It had limited drink options.
