A great place to have a rest after an exciting day! Hotel "Hotel Orchidea" is located in Passo del Tonale. This hotel is located in the very center of the city. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — St. Mortits Bad-Signal Ski Lift, Signalbahn Cable Car and Lake St. Moritz.

We booked two rooms several months ahead. Then, out of nowhere, they cancelled our stay just one month before it started, without offering any compensation.

We found the food exceptional. Breakfast was a hearty buffet with plenty to choose from, including delicious sunny-side-up eggs. Dinner was just as good, with two courses of pasta and meats plus a varied buffet of vegetables and other tasty options. The spa was a nice extra, though it's small and can get crowded at times. This family-run hotel gave us a wonderful stay. The slopes are very close, about a five-minute walk to the first, blue lift, or you can take the ski bus. From there, getting to the other lifts and trails was easy. We were thoroughly impressed and grateful for the experience. Thank you!

A great spot for skiing, with an excellent location. The bus stop is just across from the hotel, though the nearest ski lift is only a 10-minute walk away. The food was delicious, with good quality and plenty of choices. Everyone on staff, from the cleaners to the waiters, was kind and friendly. Rooms were cleaned and serviced every day, and some have wonderful views of the Presanella peak. We'll come back this year!

Sonia even put together a packed lunch for us when we had to leave very early, which was such a help. That kind of care is why we keep coming back to Hotel Orchidea, this was our third stay, and Andrea and Sonia recognized us right away and made us feel at home. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food has been good on every visit, and this year it was better still. The hotel feels like a comfortable blend of modern and traditional, and it was exceptionally clean. The piste is a short walk away, or the free ski bus stops right outside. There's a clean, heated ski room, and lockers are also available to hire near the centre. We'll definitely return.

The location worked perfectly, and it was really handy to park in the garage, bring our bags up, then take them down warm when we left. We had an excellent stay and felt warmly welcomed by everyone. Valeria was wonderful, and Mauro was amazing. The rooms were very good. A small minibar-style fridge for cold drinks would be a nice addition. We enjoyed the food, so keep changing it up!
