The main thing going for this residence is its location. From the balcony of our rented apartment, we could step straight into the area leading down to the first cable car in the chairlift system, barely 150 m away. We paid 18 thousand for four people for four nights. But there were already lots of people here in the mornings during the first week of March 2026. The rooms were clean, but the place is neglected and old, and it seems to have seen better days.

The mountain views are stunning, and you can walk straight onto the ski slopes in winter or out onto the meadows at 2,000 meters in summer. This isn't a traditional residence with a spa or pool; there are hotels on the pass for that. These are privately owned or rented apartments. It's ideal if you love mountains and skiing, want a quiet break from the chaos, and aren't looking for frills. There is no Wi-Fi. You have to rely on your phone or internet sticks or boxes. At 2,000 meters, Telecom is still working on installing fiber optics.
