Hotel The Queen

I loved the hotel. It was very clean, with a lovely layout to the grounds, and the pool was amazing and kept clean too. Our bedrooms were a good size, cleaned every day, and had comfortable beds. The staff were kind and did their best to chat and help with whatever we needed. The owners were lovely and involved with the guests, and English music in the downstairs lounge made it welcoming to people beyond Italian speakers. For getting to shops or other places, though, it's a bit far, so I'd suggest arranging transport or having a car. It might also be nice if they offered something besides breakfast.

The garden and pool were the highlight for us, and we even had a swim before setting off. Breakfast was enough, with bread, yoghurt, fruit and drinks, and the staff were helpful. We stayed overnight while travelling onward. Parking was spacious and free, and the rooms were clean but a little plain. In the middle of summer, the air conditioning took a while to cool things down. The minibar fridge didn't cool at all, like in many hotels, and basically worked as a heater. A free tip: add ventilation holes to the cabinet it's in.

Everything was clean and tidy, and parking on site was no trouble. The breakfast was lovely.

A very good hotel, with English-speaking staff, clean rooms, and a nice breakfast. There’s plenty of free parking on site.
