Villa MareBlu

The location was excellent, and the owner was kind and helpful, bringing us the small things we needed. We stayed for 15 days. The house has a large porch, a working wood-fired oven for pizza, meat, or fish, an outdoor shower, and a shared washing machine. Inside, it's simply and basically furnished. There's no air conditioning, but it stayed pleasantly cool. Highly recommended!

The sea is only a few minutes' walk away, and the rocky shore is great for snorkeling. We didn't mind the lack of a pool. Torre Vado is close enough to reach in just a few minutes, while the villa itself remains peaceful, and car trips to other sights are easy. We spent almost two weeks here and had a relaxing holiday. There are four apartments in the villa, but each has its own private space, so the stay feels comfortable. The owner is very nice and can always be reached by phone. He's based in Torre Vado, so he can come over quickly if something needs attention.

Torre Vado is about a 20-minute walk away, and the villa is very close to the sea, though the beach is pebbly. The internet is quite unstable, which can be good for switching off. The apartment was clean and tidy, with enough room for four adults. Each unit has a roomy private terrace or outdoor area, and parking at the villa is free. Water is included, but electricity has to be paid to the landlord. The landlord is friendly and helpful, available by phone and quick to respond, though he isn't on site. Finding the villa with navigation can be tricky, so it's best to head to Torre Vado and contact him. He speaks Italian and French.

We spent two weeks there, and the house looked exactly like the photos. A lovely place, and the people were even better.
