We stayed for six winter nights while skiing at nearby Marilleva, and I can only speak to the bed and breakfast. The rooms were clean, pleasant, and rustic, with temperature controls in each one. Watch your head around the beams upstairs, as they’re low in some spots. Breakfast was the part we liked less. It was the same every morning, with little variety, and portions were small enough that we had to ask for more boiled eggs, bread, tomatoes, and other items. We mentioned this to the owner after a couple of days, but things didn’t change much. I’m against wasting food, but it came across as the owners being a bit cheap. As others have said, there can be a smell, but it’s a farm, so that’s to be expected.

We had a fantastic couple of hours riding through Val di Sole, and our guide made the trip even better. The horses are well cared for, and it was lovely to spend time with them. I’m an experienced rider, while my daughter is still learning and has only used an English style saddle so far. I was happy to try the American style saddle they offered. It’s definitely different, but I’m glad I gave it a go. We’ll be back, hopefully for a four-hour ride next time, but I’ll stick with an English saddle!

This restaurant and riding school sits right along the 35 km bike path, making it a handy stop for a cream and a quick rest before getting back on the road. The food is good, though it’s a shame there are so many flies around because the horses are close to the restaurant.

We had an amazing time on the horse riding trips. The location is excellent, and the hosts are friendly and helpful, with good ideas for things to do.
