The kids never wanted to get out of the pool, which has wonderful views. Breakfast was amazing too. This family-run hotel near Moncalvo is a hidden gem, with breathtaking views over the hills and farms. The owners were very friendly and helped us find places to explore.

We had a relaxing, lovely vacation here. The scenery is beautiful and quiet, and the hosts were welcoming and really nice. The pool area and breakfast were great. Asti is nearby, where we had a lovely dinner and spent the afternoon shopping. From the property, you can also spot the Paramount mountain from the logo and the Alps. I'd absolutely recommend it!

Gaute and his family made our birthday group feel right at home, and Gaute cooked us a fabulous birthday dinner: BBQ ribs, rosemary roasted potatoes and homemade cole slaw. He's a barbecue MASTER. He also booked us tours at some wonderful local wineries. The pool is beautiful, the clean, nice rooms were great, and the hilltop property looks out over vineyards in every direction. I could keep going, but if you're reading this, you should come here!

Really friendly owners, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with lots of fresh fruit, muesli, pastries, meat and cheese.

We spent a couple of evenings in Moncalvo and Asti, went wine tasting nearby, and enjoyed some days by the pool. Tenuta del Barone is in a beautiful part of Italy, and the warm welcome lasted throughout our stay. Thanks for a lovely visit. I hope more people get to experience the area!
