Appartamento via del Grillo 8

The owners seem completely unmoved by comments about the missing refrigerator, air conditioning, bathrobe, table and chair. Compared with the 2* hotel 20 m away on the same Grillo street, the conditions here are worse. That hotel has lower prices, rooms over 25 square meters, and a garden where breakfast is served. This property has three accommodation spaces: a small 12 sqm room that looks like a detention or ascetic cell, and two fully equipped apartments of 40-50 sqm. In the off-season, prices are 75 to 120 euros regardless of room size, which is absolutely absurd. The 12 sqm room is advertised as 25 sqm, which seems impossible from the pictures. It can't be ventilated properly, so it's full of dust and mites you can't see but that cause serious allergies. The stairwell hallway is steep and dark, and you could break your neck because the switch at the door of Petit's room is broken. The owners require smart check-in, so if you've paid in advance and discover this room is a claustrophobic torture space, what can you do? La Corte dell Grillo might be worth choosing if you pay at most 45 euros for this room, but not 115 euros a night.

We were really pleased, everything was great!

Easy to reach and a nice place. We stayed one night, and the room was comfortable for a short stop. The only issue was that there wasn't enough hot water for more than two showers.

The staff were extremely helpful, especially with finding the apartment, which can be tricky for tourists. It was in a quiet, safe area, and the room was fairly clean with everything we needed. I highly recommend it.
