B&B dei Filosofi

Salvatore really made our stay at B&B dei Filosofi: he was warm, helpful, and great to talk with over breakfast. Each morning he made us coffee or cappuccino with bread, butter and jam, croissants, juice, and water. The B&B is about a 20-minute walk from the center, but escalators make the route pleasant and not too strenuous. Bars, tobacconists, pharmacies, grocery shops, and other essentials are nearby. Our room was clean and had its own bathroom, though the bathroom felt cramped and the 1960s/1970s decor wasn't quite to my taste. There was a fan rather than air conditioning, but we were comfortable despite the heat. The rooms are on the building's first floor, with an elevator, and Wi-Fi is available. Thanks for everything!

The owner lives at the B&B and was very kind and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the location fairly good. What brought my rating down was cleanliness: I stayed several nights, and neither the bathroom nor the room was cleaned during that time.

We had such a happy five days here, me and my daughters. It's a quiet residential spot but still central, with a bus stop practically right below the building and good connections around the area. The historic center is about a 20-minute walk via the escalators. Mr. Salvatore was always smiling and so kind. He made us lovely breakfasts each morning with nice music in the background, and gave us really useful advice for our city tours. Very glad we chose this place, and we'd happily come back soon. The room was clean, but the apartment is in a condo right by the road, so car noise comes through. The bathroom is shared with the owner and only had cold water. The refrigerator was off when we found it in the morning, and breakfast isn't a good option if you're heading out early, around 8:00 AM. It's also up a steep walkway and not close to either the station or the center.
