Hotel Giusy

The quality is low. I also encountered one older man who kept using abusive language.

I really like this place.

The room and bathroom were very clean, and the owner was kind and helpful. They even offered us breakfast and a small discount. Still, we found the room in another property after checking in at Hotel Cigno, and that place left a lot to be desired. Its address matches Hotel Cigno, but there's no sign, so you might think you've gone the wrong way. It's on a busy road where stopping to ask for directions is difficult, and parking is very limited, first come, first served. For a one-star hotel, I didn't expect much, but every hotel should have basic amenities. There was no air-conditioning remote, just an on/off button, and no refrigerator or hairdryer. There were bar-sized wipes instead of toilet paper, dangling cords in the room and hallway, and no double pillows.

The staff were very friendly, and the price was quite reasonable. The rooms are spacious and recently renovated, with new bathrooms. The thin walls are a drawback since you can hear everything next door. A group of young foreigners in the ground-floor rooms chatted late into the night, so it got a bit noisy. The floors could have been cleaned more carefully.
