La Collina Di Pilonico

A really bad experience. We stayed two nights in one of the apartments. It's a nice place, especially in summer, but we were there December 6th and 7th and it was quite cold. The boiler made a very strange noise the first night, so we slept terribly. When we got back to the room the next evening, the boiler had stopped working and we spent the night at 16 degrees Celsius with a small child. We called the owner and got no answer. We also sent a WhatsApp message, but he only replied the next day, saying he hadn't heard the call.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the pool was fantastic. A beautiful farmhouse in the Umbrian hills, close to lots of cities and villages worth a visit.

The owners were kind, attentive and ready to help with guests' needs. The place would work well for families or groups, and there's convenient parking. We also had plenty of outdoor space, a stunning pool, and comfortable, welcoming, clean apartments with everything needed, including cooking facilities. The farmhouse sits in the heart of Umbria, surrounded by nature and peaceful hills. Its location is handy for reaching places of artistic interest such as Assisi, Santa Maria degli Angeli, Perugia and Spello, as well as the region's many medieval villages. Congratulations, we'll be back!

The dining room felt as welcoming as a friend's home, and the accommodation was clean and well kept. We felt looked after in the simple, genuine way I hope for in places like this. The peaceful, family atmosphere made it wonderful. Luca and Maria Bruna both contacted me two days before we arrived. Their calls gave me the feeling we'd have a warm welcome, and they were right. Maria Bruna cooked simple, delicious food and served it with warmth and smiles. Even though it was October 29th, there were lots of mosquitoes outside, so we asked for mosquito coils. They brought coils and citronella candles, and even disinfected the air. I also asked for two extra pillows since I'm a bit of a nuisance and don't always bring my own, and they were in the apartment that same evening.
