The pool and yard were gorgeous and so well looked after, with plenty of space even when the smaller apartment downstairs was occupied. Each apartment also has its own outdoor area. The pool water was a bit cold in May, but we still swam. A week later it probably would’ve been just right. Our place at Le Balze (il Melograno) was clean, comfortable for our family, and had everything we needed. The beds suited us too, with medium-firm mattresses. Valentina was lovely and available whenever we needed her, while still giving us privacy. Getting to Perugia was easy by car or bus, with the stop just outside the gate, about a minute up the road. We’d happily stay again next time we’re in the area.

Such a lovely spot for a relaxing Italian getaway. The grounds were cared for, the pool was beautiful, and the hosts were very gracious. It’s quiet here, but close enough to nearby towns and cities for exploring without much trouble. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend checking it out.

The hosts made the stay feel especially warm, and the countryside views were easy to find. Our apartment was spotless and comfortable, opening onto a calm, pretty garden. Perugia’s historic sites were only a short trip away. I’ll remember this place for a long time.

What a beautiful property, and the grounds smelled of roses. The hosts were wonderful people and the scenery was spectacular. It felt like an Italian dream, and I know I’ll think back on this stay often.

Valentina and her husband were kind and helpful, and the two dogs were friendly once they’d got used to us. They wander around freely. We stayed in le Rose, the apartment for 2-4 people. It looks a little old-fashioned, but it’s comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. It’s a peaceful oasis with Perugia very close by. We’d come back.
