The villa grounds are gorgeous, almost magical. The accommodation is in converted outbuildings rather than the villa itself, and it made for a very pleasant short stay. It’s in a rural village about 10 minutes outside Perugia, with an old church and the villa but little else. You’ll need a car to stay here.

We visited in winter and the apartment was a comfortable temperature, with very comfy beds and everything we needed for breakfast. The apartments sit apart from the main building, so there’s privacy and quiet, and they’re equipped with all the essentials and lovely little details. The historic main house is impressive, and the gardens and Umbrian scenery are a dream. Perugia is about a 10-minute drive away and is well worth seeing. A really beautiful place, full of charming spots. Unforgettable.

The pool has a gorgeous view, and there’s a huge park around the villa. The apartment was so cozy, with comfortable beds and a kitchen that had everything I needed. I loved cooking with all those pretty dishes, then setting the table out in the garden. There was coffee, tea, water, olive oil, jams, and other things in the kitchen. Roberto and Ludovica were so kind and thoughtful. The villa is enchanting, beautiful down to every detail. I’ve fallen in love with this place. Thank you for such a lovely vacation!
