We had a great time at Palazzo Giusti, and I’d consider booking it again. The property itself is incredible, and it suited our group of friends celebrating birthdays over 8 days. We had a blast exploring the area. For young adults coming together for a fun trip, I’d still recommend it, though you should be ready for some problems and a difficult time getting them resolved. Honestly, I think this is a generous review. Plenty of travelers might have given it 1 star after dealing with Roel. 😅 There were hot water and WiFi problems, plus no pool heating, a leaking washing machine, a tumble dryer that was useless, and other issues. They fixed the hot water quickly, but the WiFi and several other complaints were left unresolved or simply denied. At this price, some faults are forgivable, but the owner or manager’s attitude left a sour taste. Roel was rude and seemed not to understand hospitality. When we raised a problem or something that hadn’t met expectations, we were told to “enjoy what you have instead of searching for what you miss.” I’m not sure Roel would have me back after the hard time I gave him.

Oliwia was so kind and helpful, and the beds were comfortable with spacious bathrooms. It’s a peaceful, clean villa where you can properly unwind. The drive there winds around a lot, but it’s worth it. I’d happily recommend her. 😁

This Resident deserves 1 star, not 4, and I wouldn’t even call it a hotel. When we arrived, we had to take an extremely narrow unpaved road. There was no real parking, and the last little lane to the so-called hotel had huge steps, suitable only if you want a leg workout. There was no reception. A dog was wandering on the stairs, and it took us 10 minutes to find the manager. The rooms had no bathroom doors, heating, or air conditioning. Our room was right beside the hall and an incredibly dirty, untidy kitchen. We left in less than 5 minutes, but they made us pay.
