I felt very comfortable here and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The accommodation is simple, rustic, lovely, clean, and affordable, and the hostess is friendly, accommodating, and tidy. There’s secure parking inside the enclosed courtyard, and the central location puts shops and plenty of walking paths nearby. The value for money is definitely in the guest’s favor. If I’m in the area again, I’ll try to stay here.

We were traveling as a couple and paid for a stay we never actually had. There wasn’t even a wardrobe, and the two of us had just one tiny hand towel, apart from the two shower towels. The sink and little table for eating were in an L-shaped corridor. The floor was still wet an hour after it had been washed, and there was a strong smell of soot from the fireplace in front of the bed, even with the closing panel in place. By comparison, the listing photo looked like a movie set. For me, even one star is too much.

There’s a very wide, comfortable bed that’s great for relaxing, plus a fireplace that makes the room especially cozy with candles lit. There’s also a small kitchen and bathroom. I think it would be especially nice here in spring and summer. The area is quiet, with a river and shops nearby, and buses 101 and 102 to Verona stop close by.

The decor is definitely vintage, well... but everything else is priceless! Alicia’s kindness, courtesy, and willingness to help are limitless. Alicia, you could change something in the decor if you want, but never change yourself! The breakfasts are indescribable. A must-try!
