Watching the sunrise over the sea from my balcony was a real highlight. My room had a beautiful view, and the bed was large and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything I needed, though the shower cabin was quite small and awkward to move around in. The walls were surprisingly thin, and I could hear my neighbors talking, so earplugs are a good idea if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with boiled eggs, sausages, three kinds of soft white cheese, and a warm dish of rice or pearl barley with vegetables and chickpeas. There were pastries with sweet sauces too, plus fruit salad and delicious espresso, kindly served. The staff were very nice and friendly.

The room was horrible, with an extremely tight shower box and a toilet seat that wasn't fit for purpose. There's no mini-bar. Parking is first-come, first-served and isn't always available, and late checkout was difficult, maybe impossible. You can't lay a beach towel on the sand, you have to pay for a beach chair. Breakfast was poor and messy, with items not replenished. The lobby was very hot with the AC turned off, and cigarette smoke came in through open windows. Fresh coffee was made by a nice, polite barrister, and most reception staff were friendly and spoke English, but one (L) was very rude, unpleasant, and unprofessional. The managers weren't available for contact requests, which were not received, and feedback wasn't welcome. I won't stay here again.

The beach is close by, and the price felt very fair. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, and the receptionists were friendly and did their best to help guests. Breakfast had a small selection, but what was there tasted good. I enjoyed staying at the Regent Hotel and would happily come back.

The location worked really well for us, with good places to eat nearby and a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, though when it got busy we sometimes waited for items to be replenished. We were there on holiday as two adults with two children. The hotel is a little dated but clean, and the staff were approachable and ready to help. If you’re not looking for anything fancy, it’s a fair option.

For four people, a taxi from the airport to the hotel costs €25. The place is clean and works well for families. There’s no luxury, but for the price it’s decent.
