Monte Marsicano Hotel

The location in the center was the only thing we liked. Our room, for two people and about 16 square meters, barely felt like a room. The single beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn't use the hair dryer because the outlet wasn't compatible. We felt shut away in the attic.

We just got home from our holiday and already want to come back. Maria was efficient and professional, always ready to help with whatever came up, and the welcome overall was so kind. The hotel is right in the center of Pescasseroli, with everything the area offers just a few steps away. It's a bit dated, but spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious.

Nunzia greeted us with such a warm smile, and was kind, professional, helpful, and sweet from the start. She looked after us throughout the stay and made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and clean, with fresh linens every day. The ensuite bathroom had a shower, a comfortable stool, and much-appreciated liquid soap. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with fragrant croissants, tasty tarts and ring cakes, a small savory selection, and more. The hotel is just behind the main square, very central and convenient. The only little drawback is that there's no elevator, which could be inconvenient for older guests or wheelchair users, though the website clearly says so. I'd recommend it to couples and families. We were there for the start of the new management, and the owner and staff were all very kind. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the location is right in the center. Breakfast was great, with everything you could want, including fresh fruit, cold cuts, and sweets. There isn't a dining option on site, but there are loads of nearby places for good sandwiches and local meals. I highly recommend it.
