Residence Paradise

I hope I can come back. It was a wonderful holiday in a beautiful setting, and everything was extremely clean and carefully maintained. The residence is only 5 minutes from the center and the sea, and there’s a lovely view from the terrace. Luigi is friendly, great at the bar, and always willing to give advice. The staff were welcoming, professional, and ready to help, and the cocktails were excellent. Greetings to Tea, always cheerful and helpful. Great value for money.

The apartment was fresh and practical, and everything was spotless and tidy. Luigi and his family were attentive and full of helpful advice, which made for a wonderful week in Gargano. The standards were high throughout. It was a great discovery, highly recommended. Michele and Giusy.

The location is a strong point, only five minutes from the center, and there’s a free shuttle to Peschici Bay if you’d rather not drive. Luigi and his wife are warm and friendly, a real asset to the residence. It’s a peaceful place, and although the bar has music in the evenings, that wasn’t a problem when we were with good company. Our accommodation, though, didn’t match the positive reviews I’d read. The bathrooms had been redone recently but weren’t practical: the sink is small and sits above the counter, so water splashes onto the floor, and there’s very little counter space. The kitchen was awkward to use. There’s no light over the burners, the faucet shifts around, the little oven doesn’t work, and the cupboards and dishes kept smelling even after we washed them repeatedly. There’s no proper dish rack, just a plastic one for emergencies that smelled too bad to use. They ask guests to recycle but only provide one trash can, so I don’t see how to do that properly. The closet smelled too, so we couldn’t use it. There’s no curtain outside the front door, which meant keeping the shutters closed for privacy. The kitchen cupboards and utensils could really use another look.

The pool was a five-star feature, and the bar and other amenities were top-notch. We had a fantastic week in a great location, with perfect rooms and newly renovated bathrooms. The staff made us feel like family and helped us find our way around the area, including the lovely beaches and places to visit. We’ll definitely return to Residence Paradise. Thanks for everything!
