Camping Bergamini

We had to cancel our trip at short notice because of an unexpected medical emergency during pregnancy, and we're currently in the hospital. I explained what had happened, but the campsite showed no understanding or goodwill and still charged us the full amount. I'm very disappointed with how it was handled. Sadly, strict cancellation policies seemed to matter more than customer care and compassion.

There were four adults in the house, which was really a furnished container, with two rooms. It felt small for us. We got just half a roll of toilet paper, and the parquet creaked with every little step. Towels weren't included and cost 8 euros extra.

The food was a real highlight: we loved the local beer and the other dishes, and the espresso was fantastic. Everyone we met was kind, too, especially the restaurant staff. We only stayed one night while traveling from the Dolomites to Zermatt, Switzerland, after finding all the campsites we had planned to use were full, so getting a spot here was a huge relief. The receptionist had this charming way of saying “Allora~ Allora~.” My sister and I still repeat it now that we're back in Korea. I don't think I'll ever forget that Italian word!

The views were stunning, and both the campsite and accommodation were lovely. The staff were very friendly. It would have been easier to get around with a rental car, and the food service ending at 4pm was a downside.
