Palazzo Piazza Mazzini

The property is beautiful, and the receptionist was kind and helpful. But the double bed couldn’t be used because two or three slats on one side were loose. The bathroom had no window, and there was no mini-fridge in the room. In summer, especially with a small child, keeping something cool is pretty essential.

The room was clean, the bed was clean, and the bathroom was clean too. It’s in a beautiful period building overlooking Pescia’s main square, with frescoes on the walls and antique furniture. The room is very spacious, maybe too spacious. The only downside was a lingering smell of smoke.

I had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Mazzini. The lady welcomed me impeccably. I’m from Tuscany, though I don’t live in Pescia, and I loved how the renovated historic building kept the poetry of its past, the fresco colors, and the views over the hills and town square. I hope I can come back soon. As an artist, I could imagine living in a place like this. Ten stars.

The welcome was just right, and the room was lovely: spotless, really spacious, and had everything I needed.
