The hosts were incredibly helpful, and I really enjoyed chatting with Rosa. The villa is beautifully maintained, has every comfort, and offers a stunning view of the sunset and the Aegadian Islands. I know the area well, and this is the best house around. My two-year-old daughter loved the immaculate garden, too. Whenever I need somewhere to stay in Petrosino, "La Scogliera" will be my first choice.

The price of €165 per day feels hard to justify. Yes, the sunsets are beautiful, but from the veranda you also see piles of rubbish and scorched ground facing the sea. Petrosino is a very small town with little to offer, and seems best as a base for up to a week while visiting Marsala and Mazara del Vallo. Sadly, those towns are also spoiled by rubbish scattered around and, in my opinion, by people who don't know how to do tourism and treat visitors like wallets to empty. I also didn't like how insistently the owners pushed their preferred payment method. It's a shame, because western Sicily has so much potential. To be fair, the house itself is truly beautiful, clean, and has all the amenities described, even for a longer stay.

The sea is only 100 meters away, and it's wonderfully quiet here. From the covered patio and flower garden you can look out over an open area and catch breathtaking sunsets. The villa is lovely, very well cared for, and has all the appliances and kitchenware you need. The owners are kind and happy to share any information you might need. Those almond pastries they welcome you with are exceptional.

I've never seen a more beautiful sunset, and the quiet, with only the sound of the sea, gives the place a special kind of magic. The villa is tastefully furnished and very clean. It's not very large, but the layout is lovely and it has everything you need, including a laundry room. I'll definitely come back!

The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the house is right by the sea with lots of good restaurants nearby. It's such a lovely, well-kept home, everything is new and incredibly clean, and it's stocked with everything you could need. You can't help feeling at home here.
